Returns & Cancelations

Online, mail and phone order sales

Online, mail and telephone order you have the right to cancel your order for a limited time even if the goods are not damaged. Sales of this kind are known as ‘distance selling’.

We will offer a refund to customers if you have told you within 5 days of receiving your goods that they want to cancel. You will have another 14 days to return the goods once you have told us.

We will refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back.

Return & Refund Policy

We offer a 30 day return policy from the date the item is received. If any items are returned then they must be in the same condition as they were received and in its original packaging. If you would like to make a return then please go to live chat, contact page or email sales@plantsbypost.co.uk

If you receive a damaged product please contact us straight away so we can look into this. Please can you supply us images of the damaged item but also the outer packaging. That way it will help us when talking to our delivery partners regarding the damage caused. 

We do not offer exchanges, we find it a lot easier for you to purchase the correct item and return the other one for a full refund. 

Once we have received your return we will notify that it has been unpacked and checked. If approved then the refund will be processed to the original payment method. This can take approximately 5 days for the bank to show the refund on your card.

When we do not have to offer a refund

we do not have to refund a customer if they:

  • knew an item was faulty when they bought it

  • damaged an item by trying to repair it themselves or getting someone else to do it (though they may still have the right to a repair, replacement or partial refund)

  • no longer want an item (for example because it’s the wrong size or colour) unless they bought it without seeing it
